M229 is a reliable German product for protection against martens, which can be used in vehicles and at home as well. Ultrasonic tones of 105 dB, flashing LEDs and 6x bipolar high-voltage plates ensure that a marten is shocked even if it does not touch the vehicle ground. Ultrasonic signals are transmitted irregularly at random intervals to prevent the animal from become accustomed to it. The built-in sensor detects vibrations and switches off the device automatically after starting the cars engine.

High-voltage plates are installed under the hood in the engine compartment in places near water, air hoses, starter cables, etc. When touching the plate, the animal receives an electric shock that immediately scares it away. The high-voltage plate is automatically recharged again.
