Power inverters
Converters from 12V/24V to 230V power appliances requiring 230V (e.g. refrigerator, laptop, pump, TV, microwave, etc.). They are used when only a 12V/24V network is available (in cars and trucks, caravans, caravans, work machines...). The inverter is connected to the vehicle's battery and changes the direct current source to alternating 50Hz with 230V voltage. The "standard inverter" (with a modified sine wave) is suitable for simple electronics (light bulbs, cookers, kettles, boilers). Sensitive electronics (such as computers, chargers, dimmers, TV, audio, compressor refrigerators) should be powered by a "Sine inverter" (with a pure sine wave). An appliance powered by insufficient power of a standard inverter may cause interference or may be louder. The rule always applies that the inverter´s power must be several times higher than the power input of the appliance. The required power of a sine wave inverter is always lower than the required power of a standard inverter feeding the same appliance.
