It is installed in the engine compartment or in the entrance opening in the vehicle. At the same time, it must be taken into account that there is as much free space as possible in the direction of transmission, and that as much surface as possible in the engine compartment is covered by the ultrasonic signal. The device must be installed so that there is no contact with moving and hot parts of the engine.

Sound travels in a straight line like light, meaning that tones will not be active behind all obstacles. The sound periodically turns on and off at 15 second intervals.

The module is manufactured in accordance with the DIN EN 60065 standard and meets the safety requirements during manufacture. In EU countries it is a fundamental requirement that marten deterrents be installed in such a way that they can only be activated when the car engine is switched off, never when the engine is running.
